Dr. Mary Jo Bulbrook

RN, CEMP/S/I, CIH/S/I & Healing Touch Practitioner & Instructor. ICF (ISGO Certified Facilitator)

Dr. Bulbrook is a spiritual / medical intuitive, medium and the creator of Energy Medicine Partnerships, Inc., an international organization that provides dynamic education in energy medicine throughout the world. The Energy Medicine program is based on her distinguished 50+ year career as a university professor in the USA, Canada, and Australia, as well as her expertise as a specialist in psychiatric mental health nursing. In 1989, Dr. Bulbrook was honored with the Canadian Holistic Nurse of the Year award.

In May 2019 she was approved as an ISGO Certified Facilitator (ICF) providing support and training to Near Death Experiencers (NDE) and Spiritual Transformative Experiencers. (STE)

February 1, 2021 she became President of Akamai University where she currently is Dean of the Institute for CAM Studies,  Division of Continuing Education & Director of the Complementary and Alternative Medicine Graduate Programs at Akamai University.

Over the last five decades, Dr. Bulbrook has been a pioneer in the energy medicine field. She began teaching and practicing Therapeutic Touch and Touch for Health in the seventies, and moved to teaching her own energy material in the eighties. From 1990-2004, Dr. Bulbrook was active in the leadership of Healing Touch. She developed both HT and her own program in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Peru, and Chile, as well as throughout the US and Canada. Dr. Bulbrook has collaborated with international healers such as Rosalyn Bruyere, Credo Mutwa (South African Sangoma), Bob Randall (Aborigine elder), and Rose Pere (Maori Tohuna).

She as served on the board of directors of Healing Touch, Association of Comprehensive Energy Psychology and Touch For Health Kinesiology Association providing vision, direction and leadership in the teaching, practice and service in those organizations.

Dr. Bulbrook is currently president of Energy Medicine Partnerships, an organization that supports and promotes the teaching and practice of holistic care throughout the world. Through her leadership, this work was introduced and developed in Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Ireland, Canada, and South Africa.
